UC Berkeley School of Optometry- Class of 1978 Reunion

Dr. Thomas Murphy Attends his 40th year Optometry Class Reunion at UC Berkeley School of Optometry!

Raised by a single mom and with very modest means - he was driven to succeed and it was an athletic scholarship that opened up opportunities for higher education and growth for him.  In 1971, Thomas Murphy graduated high school and received a scholarship for high jump to attend Cal Poly St. Luis.  

His drive to succeed landed him the All-American title for high jump in both 1973 while at Cal Poly and once again at UC Berkeley in 1976 while attending graduate school.

It is with this passion and drive that Dr. Murphy continues to strive towards excellence in his practice each day at Eye Designs Optometry.

As in all business and practices, we are constantly evolving and looking for ways to better provide care and service to our patients.  We thank you for your wonderful support, feedback and trust throughout the years!  We look forward to caring for you through the next 40 years!
