There are several treatment options available, including home therapy options, and clinic visit. The best direct treatment for this lid disease is an in office BlephEx ® procedure to remove the excess bacteria, biofilm and toxins. Since bacteria grows constantly, maintaining a good lid hygiene between treatments is important. Regular in-office treatments are needed to remove bacteria and biofilm that are tough to remove during regular hygiene.
